Mental Health First Aid Training

What is a Mental Health First Aider Training Course?

Mental Health First Aider, otherwise known as MHFA, is a nationally recognised Mental Health First Aider course that empowers and provides employees with the tools to be able to support their colleagues when mental health issues arise in the workplace.

What will you gain from the MHFA course?

Once the course is completed, you will gain valuable knowledge and the confidence to support those in need in your workplace. You will also be able to identify the early stages of mental health issues, warning signs, and practical skills on how to deal with difficult mental wellbeing situations that may occur.

The two-day MHFA training course will teach you how to recognise, understand, and assist someone at work who may require help, whilst also keeping you safe.

The course explains how to guide someone and signpost towards authentic professional help, aid a quicker recovery, and possibly stop someone from self-harming or hurting anyone else.

Here at MR Devco, we also offer a follow up service for Mental Health First Aider’s wellbeing, where we regularly meet with your MHFA’s and assess how their mental health is, whilst performing their duties in the role.

Thereafter, we can recommend the necessary course of action and support for each individual MHFA, where applicable.
